Born in 1942, Abai Village, South Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan.
Lives and works in Almaty.
In 1966 graduated from Benkov Tashkent College of Art.
In 1972 graduated from Ostrovsky Tashkent Theater and Art Institute.
Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Silver Medalist at the Baku Biennale of Artists of Caspian Sea Region (1989).
Honored Artist of Kazakhstan (1991). Laureate of the “Platinum Tarlan” Award (2005).
Member of the Kyrgyzstan Academy of Artists (2006).
His works have been exhibited in Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, France, England and Romania.
His works can be found in state and private collections and foundations in Kazakhstan and Russia.
