Born in 1951, Kazalinsk, Kyzylorda Region, Kazakhstan.

Lives and works in Almaty.

In 1976 graduated from Gogol Alma-Ata College of Art.

In 1982 graduated from Surikov Moscow State Art Institute.

Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1996).

Outstanding Scholar of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1996).

Winner of the International exhibition- competition “GLOBAL-ART – 2000”, USA (2000)

Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2002).

Medal of Halyk Bank dedicated to the 20th anniversary of tenge (2013).

Outstanding Art” Medal (2014).

His works can be found in museums of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and in private collections of foreign countries.
