Born in 1949, Enbekshi Village, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan.

Lives and works in Almaty.

In 1968 graduated from Gogol Alma-Ata College of Art.

Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Member of the International Association of Art Critics (1986).

Laureate of the State Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Literature and Art (2010).

Honored Cavalier of the “Kurmet” Order (2017).

His works can be found in the collections of national and foreign museums in Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, USA and other countries.
