Born in 1937, Kulagino Village, Guryev Region, Kazakhstan.
Lived and worked in Almaty until 2011.
In 1965 graduated from Gogol Alma-Ata School of Art.
Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Laureate of the State Prize in the field of culture and art of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Honorary cavalier of the Order “Kurmet”. Winner of the independent “Tarlan” award (2000).
Participant of many domestic and foreign exhibitions, festivals, competitions and biennials.
His works can be found in public and
private collections and in foundations of
Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, Liechtenstein,
Israel, France, Germany, Canada, Turkey,
Greece, UAE, USA and other countries.
