Born in 1948, Akzhar Village, Dzhambul Region, Kazakhstan.

Lives and works in Almaty.

In 1971 graduated from Gogol Alma-Ata College of Art.

In 1977 graduated from Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Laureate of the Valinkhanov State Prize of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (1988).

Laureate of the Abai Prize in the field of Book Graphics (1991).

Laureate of the “Platinum Tarlan” independent award of Kazakhstan Maecenas Club (2003).

Active participant of republican and international exhibitions since 1987.
